We're Greyhound Rescue of Tennessee, and we want to thank you for taking a minute to visit us. We are an all-volunteer greyhound rescue and adoption group. It is our belief that racing greyhounds should not be overlooked, but rather placed into loving, responsible homes at the end of their careers. Our mission is to inform the public about the retired racers, show them to be the beautiful, gentle animals that they are, and make a difference in the lives of as many retired racers as possible. We believe that racing greyhounds deserve every chance to become a treasured family member at the end of their careers, and we will strive to provide the best possible homes for them.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

SWEETIE

We don't know who this little girl might have been but she will be turning 12 this year and she is most definitely a sweetie that was found near Cherokee Lake rummaging around a restaurant. Was she lost or was she dumped, why was she not loved, we don't know but we do know she was hungry. Sweetie is in foster care now and she is safe.

Sweetie is an ole gal but still has lots of love to give and needs a home and family to call her own that will love her for the remainder of her life.

SWEETIE IS ADOPTED

Greyhound Rescue Foundation of Tennessee is a State Chartered not-for-profit all volunteer organization whose mission is five fold:

1) To educate the general public about the availability and suitability of retired racing Greyhounds as pets.

2) To medically treat each Greyhound that comes into our program, including but not limited to spay/neuter, all shots, heartworm test, and any other treatment deemed needed.

3) To find loving and qualified homes for all Greyhounds entrusted to us.

4) To offer ongoing support to those who adopt Greyhounds.

5) To promote harmony and cooperation between all segments of the worldwide Greyhound community.
